The Clinic completed construction of the MacAusland Medical Annex in 2004. The MAC and the VIC condos are the main housing units in the annex and are used by the orthopaedic and medical doctors who volunteer their time and expertise to the Clinic on a weekly basis during the ski season. In the Summer of 2008 the ground floor of the MacAusland Medical Annex was converted into a two bedroom apartment. The "Simmers' Suite" is named in honor of long time director and past president Bill Simmers and will house physicians who come up to help during busy vacation and holiday times.

Funds from operations, a Stratton Foundation grant, and previous medical annex donations were used to renovate this space.

Barbara Wright (wife of clinic president, J. King Wright) did another outstanding job in choosing the furnishings and decorations. She had previously decorated the medical and ortho condos in this same building.

Renovation was done by Wylie, Inc., the same company that had constructed the annex in 2004.
