Dear Friend of the Carlos Otis Stratton Mountain Clinic

After 8 years of providing emergency medical services to the Stratton Community and neighboring towns our old ambulance needed to be replaced. This was a tough decision during these difficult economic times but a necessity given the critical role the ambulance plays in the community.

The ambulance is operated by Stratton Mountain Rescue, a division of the Carlos Otis Clinic and manned by volunteers. The ambulance is equipped with state of the art advanced life support equipment and medications.

Stratton Mountain Rescue provides year round 911 service to the community and transfers critically ill or injured patients from the Carlos Otis Clinic to local hospitals. In 2008 Stratton Mountain Rescue responded to 117 emergencies in Stratton, Winhall, and Londonderry.

The Clinic has borrowed the $144,650 purchase price from a local bank. Our goal is to retire this debt obligation as soon as possible. We are asking you and the community to help us achieve this goal with a tax deductible contribution to the Carlos Otis Clinic.
