Dr. Burbank completed advanced Fellowship training at New England Baptist Hospital and the Lahey Clinic.  He specializes in sports-medicine and shoulder injuries and has a professional interest in joint replacment surgery.  He is an orthopaedic consultant for the University of Massachusetts Amherst men's hockey team and a medical reviewer for Arthoscopy Journal.

Dr. Burbank is an avid mountain bike rider/racer, telemark skier, and hockey and tennis player.
