Dr. Jacquet is a Board Certified Emergency Physician practicing clinically at Boston Medical Center and serving on the faculty at Boston University School of Medicine and the Boston Medical Center Emergency Residency Program. Dr. Jacquet's academic focus is improving and standardizing the preparation of students and medical trainees for global health learning experiences; she is the founding course director of The Practitioner's Guide to Global Health. Dr. Jacquet's interest in practicing medicine in austere settings began when she completed her Wilderness EMT while an undergraduate at Middlebury College. She returned to Vermont for medical school, during which tmes she served on the Charlotte Volunteer Rescue Squad and worked at the Sugarbush Ski Clinic. Dr. Jacquet currently lives with her husband and 2 young daughters in Somerville, MA; however they return to Vermont frequently to enjoy its natural beauty and outdoor opportunities.
