STRATTON MOUNTAIN
RESCUE
Stratton Mountain Rescue is licensed at the Paramedic level, and is staffed by a team of EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics. Stratton Mountain Rescue operates the ambulance year round transferring critically ill or injured patients from the Clinic to local hospitals. Staffed by volunteer members of the Stratton Ski Patrol, Stratton Mountain Rescue also provides 911 emergency response service to the wider Stratton community. Stratton Mountain Rescue responds to emergencies in the towns of Stratton, Winhall, Londonderry, Peru, Jamaica, Weston, Windham, and Chester.
Thanks to a recent donation campaign, the Clinic owns a 2018 Ford F550 Horton Type I Ambulance. This ambulance is equipped with the most up to date Advanced Life Support (ALS) gear available, 4-wheel-drive, WiFi, improved pediatric patient safety, and improved attendant seating/safety restraints.
Our team takes great pride in our legacy of serving Stratton Mountain and its surrounding communities with care that is immediate, competent, and compassionate. It is with the help of generous donors that we’ve been able to provide this service for more than 40 years.
From fractures to life-threatening events, from ear aches to stomach aches, from sore throats to sore muscles, our patients benefit from the highest level of care, right here at the base of Stratton Mountain.
